Aim:
To gather information and data regarding pharmaceuticals in the black hole of the in-patient sector
Methodology:
After a general mapping two surveys were undertaken.
- General survey on the pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement policies in the in-patient sector. The general survey was undertaken in all EU Member States and further countries which are members of the PHIS project. The outcomes are country reports
- Case studies for selected hospitals in selected countries. This was a detailed survey and analysis, which also included a price survey.
